From what I can see of the barrel it strikes me that it has been removed, cleaned and polished fairly recently. Overall I get the impression of a gun assembled from parts at a later date than the lock itself was made.
Also the decorative style while clearly eastern seems a bit crude in comparison with the barrel and lock quality. To me the matching of that lock with the barrel is anachronistic - the barrel being earlier in style than the lock. Without having the pistol in my hands the photographs are not clear enough for me to locate where the pin or pins that hold the barrel are placed. However there will also be pins holding the ramrod pipes in place. The barrel will be held in by a screw in the tang and one or more pins inserted in the stock.
